BACKGROUND: Grand Traverse Academy called the Traverse City, MI epoxy flooring experts at Xtreme Engineered Floor Systems to give a one of a kind look to their 17,000 square feet of school hallways. They wanted epoxy floors that were easy to clean, has low maintenance cost, and is durable enough for the abuse of the heavy foot traffic of the students. Our V-8 High Performance Floors Platinum Color Pigment System combines the industrial strength of our V-8 resins with the metallic epoxy effects of our Platinum Pigment System. This made is a perfect match for this school’s epoxy flooring project.

APPLICATION: Xtreme Engineered Floor Systems prepped the concrete in this school’s hallways for coating with epoxy. After patching, our experienced floor installation crew used our V-8 6.0 High Performance Epoxy to install our Platinum Color Pigment System. This metallic looking epoxy floor coating offers one of a kind looks! After application of the epoxy, our Magnum Urethane Topcoat was installed for long lasting durability, scratch resistance, and an attractive satin finish.
