BACKGROUND: The owner of this commercial space in Grand Rapids wanted their newly poured concrete floors to last. They were looking for something to not only protect the concrete, but look great and function as well. That’s why they called Xtreme.

APPLICATION: Since this area was wide open, we were able to use our ride on shotblaster to quickly and efficiently prep the concrete floor for coating. Shotblasting creates the best concrete profile for epoxy and other floor coatings to bond to, and it is dust free. For an easy to clean seamless floor, the joints were filled with fast setting epoxy patch material.

Xtreme’s experience coating crews then applied our industrial strength V-8 Hybrid XT Vinyl Chip System. The vinyl chip floor by itself does have some texture, but extra grip was added for slip resistance.
