Project Description
New Commercial Flooring at Spa in Ada – Polished Concrete
Ada, MI
APPLICATION: The process of polishing concrete takes a lot of experience, knowledge, and equipment. For this reason, Xtreme Engineered Floor Systems was selected as the contractor for this Ada polished concrete project. To achieve the large stone appearance, diamond grinders were used to grind through the concrete. After grinding, the honing process begins. Once honed, concrete densifier is applied. Coupled with the honing steps, the densification of the concrete makes it harder. After several steps of diamonds, the machines are run on the machines to complete the polishing process. In conclusion, Xtreme’s X-Guard is applied and burnished to offer added stain resistance and cleanability.
