We’ve discussed in the past the importance of concrete preparation. Overlooking this step can be detrimental to a new flooring project. Part of that process includes concrete repair. Sometimes concrete can begin to crack and become uneven over time. With all the walking, shuffling of supplies, and more, your floor eventually will start to break down. When that happens, our concrete repair products offer a quick and easy solution.
Fast Patch
To keep projects moving and on schedule, we use Fast Patch. When there are small holes or pits in the concrete, this gray, epoxy-based material can be used to fill them. In 20 minutes, it hardens to create a strong surface that is ready for continued preparation and final coatings.
High Impact
For bigger holes or for concrete that requires a stronger reinforcement, our High Impact solution delivers 9500 pounds of compressive strength—that’s two to three times stronger than normal concrete. We mix it with a custom aggregate so it still has the look of normal concrete though. Nearly odor free, this 100% solids, epoxy-based material can be installed and be ready for grinding and polishing in one hour.
As strong as concrete it is, it will not last forever. When cracks and joints start to pop up, both of our concrete repair products offer durable reinforcement. Our specialists will identify which option is best and then proceed to fill the gaps. Like other parts of concrete preparation, this step should not be overlooked. That’s because repairing your floor can ensure a successful and long-lasting installation of the new floor coating or polished concrete.
Is your concrete floor beginning to show signs of wear and tear? Our Fast Patch and High Impact products might be perfect for you. Give us a call today to learn more about how we can help repair and prepare your floor for a new coating.
