What Options Are There For Commercial Flooring?

There are so many different options out there when it comes to commercial flooring that a lot of people have no idea where to begin when they have to make a decision. We can help! We’re very experienced in giving people great advice and helping them decide exactly what they need and/or want.

We highly recommend our V8 6.0 High Performance Epoxy! This is a two part, high solid coating, and it is a great solution for all of your high traffic area needs. This coating is designed for concrete floors that are subject to abuse, such as chemical spills or abrasions. The epoxy comes as a clear resin, but we will be happy to add color to it if you prefer. There are 12 different colors to choose from if you do decide to go this route. The recommended installations of the epoxy are a 16 mil smooth floor or a 60 mils high build textured-floor. It can handle foot traffic in 12 hours at 75°F.

Cleaning and maintenance for epoxy floors is super easy! All you have to do is sweep and mop them with our Xtreme Clean Floor Cleaner and they’re good to go! The best part is that they look shiny on their own – they will never need any waxing or polishing whatsoever. Epoxy saves you money by not having to hire someone to come in to do a ton of work that will only last you a little while before they have to come back in and do it all over again.

We also offer our V-8 Hybrid XT (Xtra Tough) Floor Coating. It has a higher cost than the epoxy but has many features that the epoxy doesn’t. Our Hybrid XT can be installed in one day, has no VOCs during installation, will not yellow with UV exposure, can be installed down to 0°F, and is industrial strength. You can’t go wrong with V-8 Hybrid XT floor coating.

Our polish is also very safe as the polished surface meets ADA and OSHA slip-resistance standards. Xtreme Engineered Floor Systems installs the first concrete floor polishing system approved by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI), that has been certified as a “High Traction” floor. When used as a part of a comprehensive floor safety program, it can reduce slips and falls. Safety is a top priority for us.
